The Lononaya villa

the Lononaya villa, has a surface area of 180 m² and can comfortably accommodate 6 people. It is located on the heights between Sainte Rose and Deshaies, cooled by the trade winds and in a quiet area where you can enjoy a peaceful stay yet be close to all amenities like shops, laundry, supermarket, restaurants, greengrocer, tobacco shop, pharmacy, doctor, which are 2.5 kms away, or 5 mins by car. The Pointe-à-Pitre International airport is 32 kms away.

Here you will enjoy holidaying on a large 2,000 m² plot of land with a superb view over the sea and the sugar cane fields. There is a beautiful swimming pool (10.50 m x 5.50 m) and an outdoor shower. The pool water is salt treated (without chlorine) so it’s natural, healthy and odourless. You’ll have deckchairs for lazing in the sun which are secluded from other people’s view. For those who love to read, we have an excellent library.

The villa has 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms and very comfortable beds. The first bedroom (180x200 bed) has a walk-in shower, sea views, double washbasin, independent WC and large dressing room, the second bedroom (160x200 bed), has a walk-in shower, single washbasin and wardrobe, the third bedroom (160x200 bed), has a walk-in shower, single washbasin, WC and a large wardrobe with 4 sliding doors. A third independent WC is nearby.

The main living room is spacious and well ventilated with many openings, a cathedral roof and air-conditioning. There is a beautiful, modern kitchen with a central island and all the necessary equipment including a big American fridge, dishwasher, coffee-maker, oven, wine cellar, microwave, extractor hood, integrated hob and plancha, crockery and kitchen utensils. The kitchen opens onto the living room which has a flat screen TV, CD/DVD player, radio and a large sofa. There is free internet connection. In the laundry room you will find a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. A hairdryer, bed linen and towels are available.

The villa is fully equipped with mosquito nets on all its shutters/jalousies, its sliding bay windows and its large bay windows.

The interior is comfortable, airy and tastefully furnished for top comfort.

The outdoor area, a beautiful covered terrace furnished with table and chairs where you can take your meals in peace as well as a lounge area, bench and armchairs, from where you can admire the surrounding landscape with the superb view of the turquoise sea and sugar cane fields.

In the event of rain or strong winds, all you have to do is lower the openwork roller shutters which will allow you to isolate yourself while retaining the atypical view whatever the weather.

You can also make your favorite grills thanks to the Weber gas barbecue and its plancha.

Parking spaces are available on the property.

The villa is close to many beautiful beaches. It’s 1 km from Mambia, the almond-tree beach, less than 3 kms from la Ramée, Anse des Iles and Cluny, and 5 kms or more from la Perle, Riflet, Grande Anse, Deshaies, etc...... You can easily enjoy good creole cooking and discover the beauty of Guadeloupe and its islands from this base.
